The first domesticated animal and by far the most loyal, the dog is called the man’s best friend for a reason. It is one of the few creatures that actually love people and enjoy spending time with them, even when humans don’t return the affection.
Back in the day, dogs used to be an invaluable help when hunting and provided the sort of protection that people depended on. Highly versatile and energetic, dogs were frequently used as working companions to protect and manage the domestic animals.
FramedArt.com features dogs protecting the house, working the livestock or playing with children and all these images are impressive in their own way. The framed Dog Prints are showcasing the complex nature of these domestic animals that tend to learn from human and even mimic their behavior. Some say that dogs end up looking like their masters in the long run, with a strong bond being established between them.
In modern times, when dogs no longer need to hunt and people rely less on them for protection, most of them have been reduced to the condition of pets. The framed dog posters abound in playful puppies that enjoy nothing more in the world than to be pet by their owners. Whether they play with other puppies or children, dogs are always adorable regardless of age and the images are a pleasure to admire. They represent a source of inspiration for painters such as Jack Sorenson whose Afternoon Snooze artwork depicts a dog chilling next to his masters.
