Airplane Framed Art
Thanks to airplanes, the world is now a much smaller place and virtually anyone can travel to remote locations within a matter of hours. Distances that were previously considered impossible to cover with reasonable costs are now accessible, and FramedArt.com has set up an entire collection dedicated to framed airplane prints.
Flown by pilots, these are widely regarded as the safest means of transportation and tens of thousands of flights take place on a daily basis all over the globe.
The concept of the airplane was set forth more than 200 years ago, but it took a century before the Wright brothers actually built the first flying machine. In the wake of the First World War, countries realized that aviation was going to play a major role in future conflicts and the aircrafts were militarized. Framed airplane prints focus not only on the civil aircraft, with hundreds of different models being available.
The vast majority of modern aircraft are propelled by jet engines, for the simple reason that they are both powerful and cost-effective. They are particularly useful for subsonic speeds and since the sonic boom is prohibited anyway in populated areas, it is the technology of choice for commercial airliners. Some of the modern versions of airplanes are using electric motors which are environmentally friendly, but have a long way to go to completely replace existing planes. It’s possible to set up an entire collection of framed airplane prints ranging from aircrafts built 100 years ago to the latest creations of modern technology.
