Cherub Framed Art

Cherubs seat near the top of the list in Christian angelology second only to Seraphims, therefore they have a special place in religious paintings. They are mentioned both in the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament and are the protagonists of Framed Cherub Art. On the other hand, they were also celebrated by other cultures and civilizations, with virtually all regarding them as the link between the gods and the human’s world. There is also evidence that they were the ones to inspire the griffin, another mythological creature, that has an Eagles head instead of a human one.

Unlike regular angels, Cherubs are devoid of any human feelings and serve the sole purpose of representing and guarding the sanctuary of gods. Not all the Framed Cherub Art feature them engaged in fights against the forces of evil, in fact most of the paintings are quite tranquil. This makes them a great acquisition not only for spaces where religion is celebrated but also private residences and offices.
