Although women’s sports have gradually increased in popularity over the last few decades, sports are still typically associated with men. Many framed art pieces for him have sports-related themes. “Golf Pro” by Conrad Knutsen shows a golf ball on a tee combined with the text “Golf Pro On Duty.” “Tour de France 1925” by Red shows a cyclicst against the backdrop of a map of France, with that year’s Tour de France route highlighted. Ron Jenkins portrays a lush golf course in late afternoon shadow in “Azalea Hole Golf Course.”
Many framed images of him consists of photographs dealing with sports, as well as other themes. “Muhammad Ali - 1965 1st Round Knockout Against Sonny Liston” shows a photograph of the legendary boxer standing over his defeated opponent.
