Framed Artwork Gifts
Throughout the history of art, some pieces rise above others to be more well-recognized. Such pieces make excellent choices for framed gift collections. Images can also achieve this status by having striking imagery in some way or portraying commonly beloved subjects, such as the outdoors or domestic animals.
Some of the artwork portrayed in framed gift wall art is designed to preserve a particularly memorable moment. For example, “Last Supper” by Leonardo Da Vinci is one of the most famous paintings in the world, portraying Jesus’s last meal with his disciples before being arrested by the Romans. “New York Firefighters / Ground Zero” shows a group of New York City firefighters raising the American flag at Ground Zero, the site of the World Trade Center bombings on September 11, 2001.
Striking imagery can be another excellent choice for framed gift artworks, even if the works themselves are not as instantly recognizable as others. Diego Rivera’s “El Vendedor de Alcatraces” might not be as well-known as Leonardo’s “Last Supper,” but it is hard not to be drawn to the colors and arrangements of the white lilies in the piece. Leonetto Cappiello’s “Victoria Arduino” uses bold colors and the appearance of motion to advertise an espresso machine.
Inspirational artwork can also be good for gift-giving occasions. People can look at the uplifting message or image and feel inspired throughout their day. Examples of inspirational images include “Together” by Marla Rae, which portrays a tandem bicycle, and “Namaste” by Veruca Salt, which shows a person seated in a half-lotus position.
