Framed Magical Artwork
Centuries ago when science was in its infant stage, the line between magic and reality was rather thin and many phenomena were impossible to explain. FramedArt.com is the place where art lovers with a soft side for myth and legend will find framed magical prints that were created by famous paintings, but also modern artwork.
These paintings showcase the author’s take on mythical creatures, legendary events or supernatural activities, all captured on canvas.
Two of Albrech Durer’s three masterpieces can be acquired by those who are in the market for framed magical prints. The Knight, Death and the Devil or Melencolia are both featuring mythical creatures and invite people to reflect on sensitive issues. Faith was at the cornerstone of these drawings, but they also have a philosophical approach that grants them depth. Leonardo Da Vinci preceded Durer and some of his works of art can also be found here, including the mythical Fight between A Lion and a Dragon.
These accomplished painters inspired many generations of artists and each movement brought something new that can be now admired in the framed magical paintings. Gustav Klimt and Vincent van Gogh shared their visions of life and death in the Tree of Life and Skull paintings. Salvador Dali’s Persistence of Memory is perhaps one of its most famous paintings, with the melting clocks being instantly recognizable even by those who are not necessarily familiar with his work.
