Framed Beast Artwork
Mythology has a lot of different beings represented through time. Some of them are unicorns, dragons, wyverns and other beings of fiction that had an immense power over regular people. Many of the beasts were a part of folklore that was passed down through generations.
One of the most popular beast of all is the dragon. Dragons are illustrated in many culture as a representation of ultimate power. The one that could defeat a dragon would be represented as a true hero that can achieve any task that is given to him. Another one of the beasts would be a unicorn, whose horn has the power to clear dirty water and cure the sick.
In mythology, there is always a hero that is trying to capture or to slay the beast. He goes on an adventurous quest, finds the beast, challenges it and often emerges victorious. Mythological beasts were most often in images of Greek mythology. The stories had many beasts that were ruthless, and could only be stopped by a demi-god or a hero with great skills or power. Namean Lion with impenetrable skin, or the Hydra, that had multiple heads, that can regrow after being cut off, were some of them.
In philosophical way, beasts are seen as an animal nature in human beings that is a total opposite to intellect or spirit. Beasts are mostly crude and rarely compassionate. For any lover of powerful beasts, that have devastating nature and know how to present their powerful image in different mythological situations, getting a framed beast art print, would be a great choice of living space decoration.
