Photography Art from Around the World

Some people love to travel, but our favorite people like to travel with a lens! Photography art from around the world acts as an incredible gift for those who can’t travel as much themselves. Whether you don’t have the time, the funding, or the ability to travel, photography art makes you feel like you’ve been around the world and back! Here are some of our favorite framed photographs from every corner of the earth.

Photography Art: A European Excursion

The continent of Europe hosts some of the most romantic cities on the planet… as well as some of the oldest and most ornate architecture. The big cities in Europe shock and awe even the most traveled architecture buffs with the variety of design and attention to detail. If, like most of us, you have not taken a guided tour through the ornate and awe-inspiring streets of Paris, Barcelona, London, or Dublin, don’t worry! You can still fill the walls of your home with the incredible sites of the European continent.

One sight you may not get to see even if you do travel to Europe is the Interior of the Library at Trinity College in Dublin. Most travelers don’t spend much time inside libraries (I mean, you can go to a library anywhere, right?) but the photographer who ducked inside of this one found something special. The rows and rows of books in the library at Trinity College, coupled with the symmetric architectural design, are truly breathtaking. We might put this on the wall of our own library because, you know, #goals.

Prague, the major city in the Czech Republic, is a less popular destination but it has some incredible views. This panoramic photograph of the Charles Bridge at Dusk puts one of these beautiful views on display. There’s just something about lit-up bridges that gives us a romantic, nostalgic feeling, right?

Photography Art: An African Safari

The continent of Africa is spectacular from the most populated cities to its most rural wildlife. As far as travel destinations go, Maasai Mara, Kenya might take the top spot. Home to some of the world’s most exotic wild animals, the Kenyan plains have been well-photographed (lucky for us!) This silhouetted shot at sunset has to be one of our favorites. (The great thing about photography? Perpetual golden hour!)

To travelers and photographers, Africa is highly valued for the beautiful wildlife, but the cities of Africa are worth a mention, too. From Cairo, Egypt to Accra, Ghana, to Capetown, the historical significance of Africa’s growing cities ignite inspiration and a sense of liberty. Here’s a great shot of Capetown, South Africa.

Photography Art: The Beauty of Eastern Asia

We’ve highlighted some great architecture and landscape photographs, but Eastern Asia may top them all (ok let’s be honest, they’re all amazing. We’re not going to pretend to know how to rank the beauty of the earth!) But take a look at the Li River at sunrise… Then we’ll dive into MORE intricate architecture!

There’s something so unique about those peaks. We’re thinking… upstairs hallway?

If you want the perfect blend of man-made artistry and the natural world, go ahead and drool over the Ninna-Ji Temple in Kyoto Japan. The cherry blossoms are a classic image of fragile, pure beauty. Even if you can’t visit Japan in the spring, you can still enjoy this perfect, framed image.

We couldn’t have a post about photography art around the world without mentioning the amazing Amazon in South America!  Brazil is also home to incredible cities and rural areas, but this photo of the mouth of the Amazon river blows us away.
