Framed Vintage Travel Posters

In artist Ignacio Zabaleta’s “Jamaica,” viewers are taken to the shore of a tropical retreat. A giant palm leaf covers the upper left-hand corner of the page; to the right is a small sailboat gliding across pristine blue water, with part of the island seen in the distance. The sky is sun-filled with puffs of clouds, and on the shoreline sits a large conch shell, beckoning viewers to pick it up, hold it to their ear, and listen to the calm, relaxing sounds of the ocean waves.

“Las Vegas” is a fun, retro framed vintage travel art piece ad. It’s unique in that it shows both sides of the city in the same print. A tall woman stands between the words “Las” and “Vegas”; on the left side, her skin is blue—like a crystal statue—and she wears a glitzy red strapless dress and bangles around her wrist. “Las” is outlined in white, and images of cartoon casinos can be seen in the lower left-hand corner.
