Framed Skiing Artwork
Skiing is a winter vacation activity that many people both love and dread at the same time. The activity is a bit daunting. You’re speeding down a hill with no cushions to break your possible fall; however, the thrill and adrenaline rush makes it all worth it. These framed skiing art pieces will make you believe that you’re on the slopes!
If you’re an art lover, you appreciate the authenticity of any piece. Kate Ward Thacker, among other artists, has hit the nail on the head. When looking at her framed skiing image, “Ski Park City”, you will be transported to a Utah ski cabin where a sign like this might be on display. Red Horse Signs had the same idea in creating “Ski Colorado”, their framed ski artwork. They advertise the Crested Butte Lodge in their authentic ski lodge advertisement.
Nothing beats a real life still of a skier in the midst of their journey up and down the slope. Panoramic Images’ framed skiing image, “Snowbird Ski Resort, Utah”, makes us wonder. What are the passengers of the chair lift thinking? Are they nervous? Anxious? Is one of the passengers scared of heights? And what about the skiers on the way down? What does that adrenaline rush feel like? There are so many questions that are raised by one simple framed skiing still.
Being able to transport the viewer to another place is the most magical quality that art has. These framed skiing artworks truly make one believe that they are no longer on their living room couch or in their office cubicle. They are on Aspen’s slopes, bundled up ready for their next journey down the slope.
