Through art, Marabeth Quin attempts to tune herself to the welfare that underlies all things and over and over again gets drown out by the noise of life. Through this broader perspective Marabeth, portrays the themes that dominate her work; namely appreciation of nature and beauty, happiness, the intimacy of the heart and vibrant life. Although she loved art since her childhood, it was not until her mid-30s that she became a painter. She began art simply as experimentation and enjoyment, but it has become her lively career with placements in homes from Florida to Hawaii and abroad, as well as corporate collections such as UBS of Nashville and Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. She says that happiness, not painting, is actually her work, and so her work tends to reflect a contemplation of life through a camera that has been sharpened by motherhood, maturity, and lengthy relationship with others. She has participated in many art exhibitions including Flyte Restaurant, ArtSingapore, Spotlight on Art Artists Market, Harding Academy, Gallery 202, Lipscomb Art Event, The Hillsboro ArtWalk, New York Art Expo, Webb School ArtXtravaganza, St. George's Art Show, Fusion Art Show, Mad Platter, Las Vegas Art Expo, and The Studio Gallery, to name just a few. The works of art she creates are the byproduct of her consistent dedication to the act of focusing on the magnificent bounty all around her. Framed Marabeth Quin art is a true testimony to her dedication to art. They are produced in high quality frames that can last for a lifetime.
