Framed Century Posters
Historical eras aren't just about countries and people; art has its own list of eras where different types of art made their way into the world of art. Framed era art can be found it millions of places throughout the world hanging on walls, in museums, in offices, and any other place that eyes of art lovers may gaze upon them.
Era art began as early as 30,000 B.C. in the Stoneage with cave drawings and came forward into the Postmodernism and Deconcstructivism of the 1970s until present day. Framed works of era art can be as classical as the “Mona Lisa” or as modern as “Red Canna” by Georgia O’Keeffe who is known for her great flower pieces.
Vincent Van Gogh is considered a Post-impressionist painter coming from the Post-impressionism period of 1885 – 1910. This art era was considered to be a gentle revolt against the preceding Impressionism era. Van Gogh is responsible for such great framed paintings such as “A Starry Night” painted in 1889.
The 1940s through the 1960s introduced the world to abstracts, expressionism, and pop culture art. Andy Warhol and Koonig were some of the most well known names during this period. There are so many art periods like; romanticism, mannerism, renaissance, realism, and the list goes on; that there is a period that is suited to every lover of art in the world. Each time period of art has its own group of fans and followers.
