Framed 20th Century Artwork
Framed 20th century art, also known as modern art, started in the latter part of the 19th century during the post-impressionist era. When the century turned into the 20th century , the art movement was known as the Fauvism movement in France and the Die Brucke movement in Germany. This type of art is more futuristic and it incorporates elements from the past and present mixed with what could be in the future.
Just like in France and in Germany, other countries owned their own rendition of framed 20th century wall art taking pieces of their own art history and turning them into futuristic pieces. The art work looks absolutely amazing especially because each 20th century art piece encompasses a creative way to represent the future according to each specific culture.
There are many artists that have made contributions to the art world with their framed 20th century canvas arts. Wassily Kandinsky is one artist that uses big, bold colors and combines them to make creative and abstract pieces that will leave you questioning exactly what the piece is. An example of his colorful creations is Composition which was created in 1912. Robert Delaunay is another artist that uses big and bold color combination to make futuristic prints.
Today, 20th century art continues to grow on new artists and those who share in the love of art. The art style gives individuals an idea of what it is like to live in the 20th century and what modern art is supposed to be.
