Aldo Pavan (Born in 1954) was born in Treviso. He began to collaborate with CLUP in 1994, and he produced two travel guides Slovenia and Ungheria. The former is the first book of its kind to appear in Italy after the former Yugoslavia broke up. In 1997, he wrote another book for the Guida Vacanze series. This book was published by the Touring Club Italiano. Pavan has published more than 100 travel features compiled in Australia, America, the Middle East, China, Antarctica and South East Asia. He’s a multimedia producer, freelance photographer and journalist. He has travelled to 100s of countries on all 5 continents, working with magazines and publishing books. He has been a teacher of photography in Milan in one of the leading Italian master schools in the arts sector. In 2007 he published Sui Sentieri dell'Oppio in Italian about Burma for Feltrinelli Traveller. He is preparing another project entitled The Routes of Man. This is a series of books that he has dedicated to the great trade routes of the world. He has been working on a series of photographic books since 2003. The books are about the rivers of the world: Yellow River, Nile, The Ganges published in 5 languages by Hachette, Thames and Hudson, Lunwerg, Magnus Edizioni and Himhof. He produces his art in a variety of finishing options, and many purchasers prefer the framed Aldo Pavan art because they are attractive and inspiring. He began writing for newspapers after graduating in philosophy and began his career in the early 1970s as a photojournalist with a weekly magazine.
