Framed Gorilla Artwork
No other primate can rival the gorilla in strength and size, but despite its impressive image and obvious force, this animal is not too aggressive. Just like other apes, gorillas have many similarities to humans, which can be explained by the fact that almost 99% of the DNA is identical.
Only chimpanzees are closer as living relatives, but even so these animals are fascinating and fully deserve the attention that FramedArt.com pays to them in its collection of Framed Gorilla Art.
Framed Gorilla Art features the gorillas as they live in the wild, mostly in subtropical forests in Africa, where they have no natural enemies. They move around slowly and occasionally walk on both feet, but only over short distances or when they need to defend themselves. The largest animals exceed 400 pounds and they are extremely powerful, with females being smaller but equally dangerous when they defend their babies or fight for their lives.
Depending on the part of Africa they inhabit, gorillas can look slightly different and the mountain gorilla is the one that is easier to recognize. They are also the largest and the silverback versions are the ones that appear in the vast majority of Framed Gorilla Art. In the wild, they exhibit the same curiosity towards humans, although they are more reluctant to interact with people, at least when compared to chimpanzees. These animals have been frequently featured in movies, with King Kong being the best example.
