Framed Vintage Canada Posters

Canada, although part of North America, is vastly different than the United States. Framed vintage Canadian posters will surely delight both foreigners and those persons who call Canada home. With their peaceful, serene countrysides and perfect mountainous slopes for skiing, these works of art undoubtedly show Canada as the treasured gem that it is.

One of the most popular framed vintage Canadian art pieces is an advertisement titled “Ski Fun La Province de Quebec, 1948.” It features a smiling woman with goggles and a fur-trimmed hood over her head skiing down a perfectly white slope, spraying snow as she skids to a stop. She wears a tan coat, white gloves, and black ski pants, and two figures dressed in black can be seen trailing behind her. A snow-covered tree is also in the background.
Another popular piece of framed vintage Canadian artwork, also an ad, is called “Canada – For Big Game.” Like the previous advertisement, this one is also fairly simple, but rather than using blue and white, the artist here has chosen a calmer orange color as a background. At the bottom of the print read the words “Canada for Big Game! Travel Canadian Pacific.” Above it, a giant moose stands in a lake, the water rippling around him. Far off in the distance, a line of blue-gray mountains can be seen as well.

You don’t have to be from Canada to enjoy framed vintage Canadian art. Art pieces like those mentioned above are perfect for travel enthusiasts, collectors of vintage art, and art lovers in general, too.
