Motorcycle Wall Art
The invention of the bicycle changed the urban landscape and made it easier for people to move around. The comfort of modern vehicles has rendered bikes less useful and relegated cycling to a pastime rather than an effective mean of transportation, but spurred the development of motorcycles.
The first one was built in 1894 and since then hundreds of different models have been built with the most relevant ones to be found in the impressive collection of framed motorcycle prints at FramedArt.com.
German manufacturers were the ones to produce the first series motorcycles, but since then a shift has occurred and Japanese producers build most of the modern models. In the developed world, they are rather a luxury good than a mean of transportation, an interesting hybrid between bicycles and cars. Many of their owners ride them for pleasure, but they are also very effective due to the fact that they consume less fuel and are great for evading busy traffic.
Framed motorcycle prints feature not only the most expensive and visually appealing models, but also cheap variants that are used for utilitarian purposes. More than half of all motorcycles are used in southeastern Asia and their design differs greatly from the ones that can be found on European and American streets. Visually charming and a pleasure to ride, motorcycles are unfortunately one of the most dangerous means of transportation, having a mortality rate significantly higher than cars or bikes.
