Framed Wanted Dead or Alive Art

It is most likely safe to assume that when law enforcement agencies of the past were printing up wanted posters they never thought that they would one day become a form of art. To them this was just a way to get the public involved in the hopes of catching a bad guy or girl. Many of these posters have been replicated to produce framed wanted dead or alive artwork that can be seen in a variety of venues.

One of the most famous criminal couples of all times were Bonnie and Clyde so it only makes sense that a poster for them would be part of the art line up of framed wanted dead or alive art posters. Even though they were shot down eventually their legacy and history still remains in the minds of many people and even younger generations are familiar with them.
You wouldn’t be able to have a framed wanted dead or alive art collection without the likes of Billy the Kid. He may be buried in the Old Fort Sumner Cemetery, but, he will forever live in the pages of history books and the replicas of wanted posters. He was probably one of the most notorious teenage outlaws that there will ever be.

Other famous criminals that have had their faces put on a wanted poster and have become a part of the art world are Baby Face Nelson a murderer and armed robber, Machine Gun Kelly, Al Capone, and the very famous Jesse James. It is also safe to assume that these murders and robbers never thought that they would be a part of popular artwork in the twenty-first century.
