Framed Bright Yellow Wall art

One of the framed Canary yellow prints is the Rain, Steam, and Speed - the Great Central Railway, with its famous yellow clouds. There are other types of posters up for sale here, but also several classic paintings, including Sunday Afternoon on the Isle de la Grand jatte by Georges Seurath. Vincent van Gogh was a huge fan of this color and he spent a lot of time painting sunflowers, which explains why so many framed Canary yellow prints are authored by him. In the final decade of the 19th century he created many paintings, rich in a color that he described as bright sulfur yellow.

His creations dating from the time he rested in Arles depict the beauty of nature in summer and sunflowers are abundant. At the beginning of the 20th century, a new form of art surfaced in New York and the color comic strip also made good use of Canary yellow. There are posters dedicated to this artistic movement and they include the popular character Mickey Dugen also known as the Yellow Kid.
