Framed Train Station Artwork
While waiting for trains, passengers patiently wait in the railway station and some of the best looking ones can be admired at FramedArt.com. The collection of framed train station prints features some iconic railway stations, such as the one in New York City, Paris or Antwerp.
All of these are works of art and have a rich history, making each wait for the train an amazing experience. They’ve been restored and modernize to meet the highest safety standards, while also better serving the passengers.
Not all framed train station prints are that glamorous and those used for freight trains are rather simple as they serve a utilitarian purpose. There are no waiting rooms here and the emphasis is on loading and unloading goods as fast as possible, so they can be sent to their next destination. By comparison, those used for passenger transfer are wonders of technology and some of them feature the most impressive architectural styles. Regardless of purpose, they are extremely diverse, elevated, underground or at ground level and range from tiny ones to stations that can accommodate hundreds of people.
Penn Station in New York and the Grand Central station are some of the most famous worldwide and they enjoy plenty of coverage in framed train station prints. These black-and-white photographs, were taken almost a century ago and back then people must have been particularly impressed by these majestic structures. The Gare Montparnasse is even older and equally impressive, being the easiest to recognize of all European stations.
