Framed Geography Artwork
Thousands of years ago, people didn’t know a great deal about Earth and their knowledge was limited to their surroundings and the areas explored by navigators. Today, geography is one of the most important sciences and it is concerned with the steady of the land and its inhabitants.
Framed geography posters at FramedArt.com make good use of the fact that the entire Earth has been explored and present an actual picture about how the planet looks like to children.
The concern for geography is not new and the term was used for the first time more than 2000 years ago by Eratosthenes. Back in the day, it was divided into several smaller sciences, but they merged into a comprehensive discipline which is supposed to help people better understand the world humans are living in. There are still two main branches to consider, as a distinction is made between physical geography and human geography. There are framed geography posters for both these branches, helping people put things into context by simply looking at the images.
Physical geography focuses on the structure of the earth, the layers that make the surface as well as the atmosphere and hydrosphere. A quick glance at the framed geography posters will reveal the fact that this branch is also concerned with the fauna and flora patterns, which together make up the biosphere. By comparison, human geography does exactly what the name suggests, by emphasizing the processes and patterns that impact human societies.
