Framed Forest Paintings
Forests these days, several words come to mind. Scary, enchanted, and never ending are a few that I can think about off the top of my head. Those words and many other characteristics can be seen when viewing framed forest art. Forests are filled with everything from wildlife to the darkest things you can think of.
For example, Bear Dance, c. 1870 by William Holbrook Beard, has an enchanting forest framed work of art that captures bears in the forest dancing. This picture makes you wonder, what really goes on in the forest when humans aren’t around? On the other side of the spectrum, a beautiful framed forest photograph entitled Stream in the forest is an anonymous photo that shows a free flowing stream that runs through the forest.
Ansel Adams has done it again with a mystifying picture of a winter forest called, Pine Forest in the Snow, Yosemite Nation. This framed forest photograph grasps the majestic trees of Yosemite National Park in the winter time. Images like this grab a handful of your imagination compared to seeing them in person. The trees of Yosemite are enormous and some of the oldest trees in the country.
Nothing says scary like a foggy day in the forest. Jamie Cook does just that with her photograph called, Fog Tree Study IV. This photo brings about many thoughts for those scary movies of someone creeping through the forest with ill intentions. For others this is a beautiful image of a foggy day in the wilderness that we call the forest.
