Framed Virginia Art

The Colony of Virginia was the first permanent one established by the English on the side of the Atlantic and vestiges of the past are well preserved. The state also played an active role in the American Revolution and was equally involved in the American Civil War. During those bloody years, Richmond was the capital city of the Confederacy, with the most important buildings of the seat of power to be now admired in Framed Virginia Art.

The Arlington National Cemetery is also at the cornerstone of many Framed Virginia Art, with the art prints featuring iconic monuments, such as the Iwo Jima Memorial. Black-and-white photographs and drawings of the Capitol in Richmond, the Main Street Station and the burnt district can be admired next to high-resolution, colorful images of the skyline. Washington’s home at Mount Vernon can also be admired in artwork, with more pictures being dedicated to the rural landscape. The Blue Ridge Mountains appear in many such paintings, with their color being the result of evergreen and deciduous trees.
