Framed Tennessee Artwork
The nickname of Tennessee is the Volunteer State and it was founded almost 250 years ago as a result of the frontier pact of 1772. Nashville is the capital and also the largest city statewide, which explains the preference of Framed Tennessee Art for showcasing its skyline. FramedArt.com has fine art prints dedicated to the urban areas as well as the beautiful countryside, particularly the Eastern part of the state dominated by the Appalachian Mountains.
Contrary to its nickname, Tennessee was actually the last state to join the Confederacy when the Civil War broke out. Nevertheless, it provided Confederate troops with more soldiers than any other state and then when it was readmitted in the union, it also furnished plenty of troops. The monuments as well as the places where critical events of the Civil War occurred enjoy ample coverage in Framed Tennessee Art. Posters dedicated to the natural beauties of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park are also to be found in this collection of artwork.
Framed Tennessee Art also pays attention to the musical personalities that regarded the state as their home and spent most of their lives in its major cities. Memphis is widely regarded as the birthplace of blues and also the place where some of the most important American musicians started their recording careers. Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Elvis Presley and many more used the affinity for music as a springboard for their careers and it was the state of Tennessee where rock took off in the 50s.
