Framed South America Artwork
South America and its northern counterpart have similar proportions, although the former has a total of 12 countries. All of them are sovereign states and even though most of them are Spanish-speaking countries, they brilliantly incorporate elements of civilizations now extinct. FramedArt.com captures the very essence of this melting pot in Framed South America Art, with posters taking the audience on a virtual journey into the past.
Framed South America Art is mostly about the natural beauties of the continent, with the posters depicting tropical forests, towering mountains, seemingly endless fields and everything in between. The Andes Mountains have some of the tallest peaks in the world, while the interior of the continent is mostly covered by the Amazonian jungle. People reside on the eastern and western coast, where they have built some remarkable cities, yet the raw beauty of nature is unmatched.
Framed South America Art revealed the interactions between indigenous people and the Spanish and Portuguese conquistadors, as well as their results. Europeans were attracted by the possibility of bringing back home incommensurable riches and they relied on an extractive economy for centuries. On one hand, this drained the countries of their riches, on the other hand the colonies got fully integrated in the Western system and today share most of its traditions. With the Inca and Aztec civilizations now extinct, the ruins of their prominent citizen temples can still be admired in artwork, if not on site.
