Framed Oregon Artwork
Due to its remote location from the eastern coast, the state of Oregon was one of the last to be colonized by Europeans. After the settlers arrived at the beginning of the 19th century, the Oregon County was founded and the richness of the lands attracted an increasingly high number of colonies. Prior to their arrival, the area was inhabited by several indigenous tribes and somehow they found a way to coexist with the newcomers. FramedArt.com celebrates this mix of cultures in its collection of Framed Oregon Art, while also keeping a keen eye on the rural landscape.
Even though Salem is the state capital, the largest city is actually Portland and that’s why it features in more Framed Oregon Art. Its Metropolitan area is one of the most prosperous nationwide and images portraying the cityscape at night are fascinating. While the urban areas have their unmistakable charm, the truly beautiful things can be admired outside their limits, with Oregon having a diverse landscape and a fascinating windswept coastline.
Framed Oregon Art features the deciduous forests that can be found at lower elevations, as well as the dense evergreen. In the Eastern part of the state, tourists can admire the restraint charm of a high desert that goes all the way to the great basin. The art prints also capture the unmistakable charm of the semiarid prairies, the steppes and the numerous meadows as well as the beautiful area surrounding Mount Hood.
