Framed Kauai Art

The island was discovered by Capt. James Cook back in 1778 and at the time, Kauai was not yet a part of the kingdom of Hawaii. For many years, the island was contested and history buffs will even find framed Kauai prints dedicated to the years preceding the moment when Hawaii joined the United States. Obviously, these represent only a tiny minority of posters, as most of them are emphasizing the beauty of the land and the main landmarks attracting tourists.

Kauai framed photography also reveals some of the less known facts about the island, with art prints featuring seemingly endless coconut plantations. Not only the flora but also the fauna is truly unique on this island, as in the absence of mongoose to pray on wild chicken, these thrive and have virtually no natural predators. Kauai is also one of the islands in the archipelago where the traditions and its inhabitants are well preserved, with the Kauaʻi Heritage Center of Hawaiian Culture and the Arts being a great example.
