Framed Ferris Wheel Artwork
“Up Above the World So High” by Maleah Torney perfectly describes what one feels when sitting in a Ferris wheel ride. The sheer, dizzying height is a both a fright and an amusement to the senses. This love of excitement has been captured in many framed Ferris wheel paintings. Take for example “Cotton Candy Wonder Wheel” by Erin Clark. Loud and pink, it transfers its exhilaration to the viewer. A more nuanced view is shown by Pamela Viola in her pieces, “Afternoon Fun” and “Late Summer Fun”. Her use of airy watercolors makes one feel light as though being lifted by a Ferris wheel.
“California Dreaming 2” by Mercedes Marin is a beautiful colored piece offramed Ferris wheel art The sun-kissed shades of paints used by the artist takes one to a serenely calm place. “Enjoy” by Stella Bradley- is of a similar vein but abstract in nature. “Ferris Wheel” by GI ArtLab and “Cable Car” by Marilu Windvand takes it to the next level- these photos; converted to a Technicolor art piece, also show off the magnificent engineering it takes in order to build such a giant structure.
“Sky Ride IV” by Adam Brock is an astonishing piece of framed Ferris wheel photography. In this picture, the lights of the Ferris wheel is contrasted against the dark night background, and lasers go through the Ferris wheel. Adam Brock also has more pictures of Ferris wheels in his Sky Ride series. One notable Ferris wheel that should definitely not be missed is the London Eye of London city. “London Eye” an elegant black and white photo of this famous landmark by Marcin Stawiarz. This Ferris wheel, placed strategically between two other structures, does look like an eye.
Panoramic Images also offer a wide variety of high definition, wide angled framed Ferris wheel pictures from around the word. Some notable examples of these Ferris wheels in different settings in Santa Monica Pier, California; in Vienna, Austria; Munich, Germany;, and many other parks all over England.
