Framed Abstract Line Artwork
One of the American movements that became prominent in the second half of the 20th century, abstract Expressionism had its roots on the old continent. The artist had to overcome a lot of adversity early on, but their efforts paid off in the end, with the paintings passing the test of time with flying colors. They brilliantly succeeded at using only lines and an abundance of colors to put their ideas on canvas and the best Framed Abstract Line Art can now be admired at FramedArt.com.
Framed Abstract Line Art includes paintings created by modern artists, as well as masterpieces authored by Jackson Pollock. The famous Number 14 that sold for a fortune is widely regarded as one of the most important milestones for abstract art. Pollock drew inspiration from everything from surrealism and Cubism to Navaho sand paintings to create truly unique masterpieces. In addition to creating artwork appreciated for decades, Jackson also inspired many artists of his generation to take a steep departure from conventionality easel painting.
New art movements emerged in the 60s and they used Abstract Expressionism as a springboard for their creations, with some included in the assortment of Framed Abstract Line Art. Those who want to complement their collection with paintings created many decades before will be happy to discover artwork authored by Pieter Mondrian. He developed his own style which goes by the name of neoplasticism and brilliantly used simple, colorful lines to express his feelings and promote concepts.
