Word Pamela J. Wingard Wall Art

Pamela J. Wingard’s favorite paintings take her to places she wants to be - the ocean, a marsh or wine country. She loves travel and nature, so she’s instantly gravitated towards painting landscapes. This North Carolina artist mostly paints flowers, coastal images, and abstract marsh scenes in a loose painterly style. She like water, boats, and being outside, so that's what she paints. The fun part is the texture, color, form and creating a sense of place. She hand-draws her whimsical art and finishes either with gouache and markers or digitally. The beauty of nature makes her feel close to God and therefore peaceful. She also likes to paint still lifes. Pamela is a graduate of The Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Utah State University, and the University of South Carolina. Her clients include projects for HP, Google Fiber, Alliance Commercial, YMCA of Greater Charlotte, Doodlebugs Infant Products and Provincetown Papers, among others. She also illustrates and designs art for products. Her art is also available for licensing on products, including stationery, gifts, wall art, and home décor. She has learned specific techniques, studied with very talented artists, and has produced several pieces of artwork, mainly as framed Pamela J. Wingard art. She likes the imperfectness of expressionistic paintings in bright colors. Pamela used to draw and paint more realistically and in a fashion that’s more detailed– because she thought she was supposed to. But later she realized that she’s not ‘supposed’ to do anything but be who she is. Before working in the design industry, Pamela was an Account Executive and Project Manager for the Ceridian Corporation and General Electric Corporation.
