Jennifer Weber Art

Jennifer Weber loved art from a tended age. She was influenced by her mother who was also an artist. She joined her mother for evening oil painting classes and this is where she got her first art instruction. Jennifer was born and raised in Ontario and she used to observe her mother work. This experience taught her the foundations of building up the layers and constructing a scene and this is how her first art instruction began and her foundation in the arts industry was set. As a young person, Jennifer didn’t pursue the arts in her formal education but decided to train as a pilot and she was rewarded with a pilot’s license. However, she never felt the satisfaction she needed in life, and in 1990s, she decided to leave her professional career and followed her heart which was in the arts. At was at this time that she also started to raise a family. As luck would have it, in 2003, she had a chance of meeting with another professional artist on Vancouver Island in her new town of Courtenay. This artist initiated a future and a change within the arts community and within 3 years, she managed to actualize her dream of having commercial space where she could create and showcase her work. Since then, she’s had so many exhibitions at various places including Corre Alice Gallery, Blue Moon Winery, Kitty Coleman, Magnolia Gallery & Garden Center, Comox Marina, Serious Coffee, Muir Gallery, Art Alchemy, Purple Onion Deli, and, Hydro Box, to name but a few. Framed Jennifer Weber art are sold in many art store across the globe.
