Pamela K. Varacek is a painter known for her whimsical art created mainly through mixed media and paint, with her base support being canvas. She's a graduate of Nazareth College of Rochester from where she earned a B.S. in Art Education. After completing her college studies, she went into art teaching. Because of family life and the demands of raising her 2 children, Pamela opened a children's clothing business and she started painting children's furniture. She did this and ran her store for a decade, but she always felt that there was something else she wanted to do. Through a friend, she learned of an online course offered by Lisa Congdon and Mati Rose in painting. And after following it for some time, it became apparent to her that creating art on canvas was the missing part of her life. Realizing how refreshing painting was, she took another course in intuitive painting, offered by Flora Bowley and Bloom True. The focus of the course was to train the artists to create art right from their intuition. It's through this course that she discovered her ability to expressly share her imaginations through art.
It's the intuition technique that she's currently using. Pamela has her work exhibited in numerous galleries and are also selling them through a licensing company located in Connecticut. Her art have been bought widely and she remains an active art maker. She's a Long Island, New York-native and is inspired by the beauty of the Great South Bay, the ocean, and the beach. There are numerous Pamela Varacek framed art in the market for interior decoration. They're also provided in other finishing options, including canvas, lamination, and prints.
