Blenda Tyvoll Art

Blenda Tyvoll is an artist who creates brightly colored artwork pieces using a unique artistic style that she’s developed over the years. She likes to transform her creative imaginations into art, delivered on canvas as her base support. Blenda uses a variety of techniques, but prefers the procedure that involves scraping, creating additional layers, glazing, and stamping the background so as to attain the most fitting texture for her subjects. She studied at the Maryhurst University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on interior design and art. Focused on her desire to succeed in art making, she seriously embarked art making, seeing her gain greater reputation. Her life growing up was very interesting, living in a family that traveled widely due to the nature of her dad’s job that saw them travel far away from their Oregon home, including Madagascar. From such travels, she gained a lot of experiences, being exposed to a variety of features, colors, contrasts, and beautiful places. Such travels have had a great influence on her artistic life, with a lot of her experiences often appearing in her artwork. Besides her lifelong experiences, her works are also influenced by her Christmas tree farm located in Portland, Oregon. She owns a studio at the farm where she grows flowers. Blenda strives to always share with her audience the beautiful details of her subjects, doing her best to deliver in the most fitting color, forms, and contrasts. Her works are displayed in galleries and are also found in private and public collections.
