Beth Thomas was born and raised in Richmond, VA where she is currently based. She loved anything with an artistic flare right from her childhood. Most of her time was spent doing works of art. Those who buy her art today do so because they are attractive, durable and inspiring. She does the paintings in a manner that makes the viewers feel that they have actually seen her subjects. The artist deals with a variety of subject matter to increase the collectability of her art. She graduated in 2002 from the University of Richmond with a degree in English and Studio Art. After graduation, she fell in love with Richmond and decided to reside there. With her style of painting, her art looks very realistic. She wants her viewers to experience the same joy she felt while working on her art. During his time, she has exhibited her work nationally through several high-status art galleries and has achieved both corporate and private collector acknowledgment. Framed Beth Thomas art hang in the collections of institutions, corporations and individuals throughout Richmond, VA and beyond. She’s an artist who strives to expand the boundaries of long-established techniques and styles of art by presenting her subjects in innovative ways. Over the last 15 years, he’s turned his passion for art and writing into a marketing career and a side business as a children's book author and freelance artist. In 2012, Beth was inspired by his love of Richmond and his young nephew, so he decided to write and illustrate and published his first children's book titled Jack & the Richmond Bubble.
