Igor Svibilsky (Born in 1964) loved art from his childhood. He had a passion for anything that had an artistic flare and often liked to do things on his own. His talent was noticed at an early age and he was encouraged to consider taking art as a full time career. He began his artistic journey as a photographer, but soon realized that photography was not capable of capturing and reflecting all the feelings he experienced at the moment he was on the scene. As a result, he decided to switch to 2 dimensional art. As an artist, he wanted a level of satisfaction that photography could not provide. Svibilsky was born in the city of Donetsk in Ukraine. He was fascinated by the works of Serov, Levitan, Shishkin, and Aivazovsky who were all famous Russian painters. Their poetic works played a major role in molding Svibilsky to be the artist that he became. His journey into photography actually began when he received his first camera at the age of 7. He became a photographer by teaching himself by reading books and observing the works of other artists. Today, his thoughtful compositions are very relaxing and pleasant and his use of a sepia, warm color enhances the traditional and the enduring appeal of the images. Svibilsky moved to the United States in 1998 and he currently resides in Lawrenceville, New Jersey with his wife, who supports him in all his artistic endeavors. The framed Igor Svibilsky art are quite easy to identify because of the quality of the materials he uses.
