Marcin Stawiarz Art

Photographer Marcin Stawiarz (Born in 1981) was born in Czestochowa, Poland. He studied Computer Science with Economy at Politechnics in Czestochowa, and also at Warsaw Photographic School. He holds a master's degree as a computer scientist in economics. In last few years Stawiarz got some prizes in the international photographic contests, like: IPA Architectural Photographer of the Year 2008 (Los Angeles, USA), Best Young Photographer on Venice International Photography Contest 2007 (Venice, Italy), and he is a Grand Prize winner of the 2009 Image International contest which was held in Canada. Over the last few years his works have appeared at many international exhibitions, in Poland, Italy, Switzerland, USA, England, and Czech Republic. His photographs have been published in photographic magazines in many countries, for example in India (Asian Photography), Taiwan (Idea Photos), England (Digital SLR Photo and Practical Photographer), United Arab Emirates (Soura Magazine), and the Asian Photography (India). Currently, he’s represented by Kontemplacje Gallery in Warsaw and Art Gallery Ryf in Zurich. In 2008 he created Neutral Density, and online photographic magazine, where his funs can find his interviews with many great photographers such as Denis Olivier, Adam Burton and Mitch Dobrowner. Some of his notable awards include the 2008 Honorable Mention in PX3 competition, France, first place Architecture & Urban Sight, Italy, Best Young Photographer, Italy, and Grand Prix – Moja Czestochowa, Poland.
