Balazs Solti is a self-taught artist born and brought up in Budapest, Hungary. He drew a lot as a child but he never studied drawing professionally. He never went to art school, he studied graphic design and web design in courses, and then he started drawing again to create designs freely. What inspire his art are films, TV, music, or just surfing on the net. Reading articles is also a great inspiration source for him. In his free time he likes to make acrylic paintings, ink and pencil drawings. He prefers to create his artwork digitally for prints because these are easy to modify. Furthermore, the background and the drawing are on separate layers and he can change colors anytime – here’s also the undo button that helps him make corrections very first. His favorite subject matter includes animals, skulls and portraits. Solti works from home where he can have a view of the beautiful mountain. So of his other interests include playing the guitar and listening to music. He also likes watching TV series, reading books, and watching European football. My Wonderful Walls, owned by Michael Goins, is a small wall décor business in Chattanooga. Michael wanted to add art from artists around the world that would diversify the wall sticker offerings at My Wonderful Walls, and that’s why he contacted Solti through Facebook because he admired his art.
