Nancy Slocum started out in Coronado, California. She was born into a Navy family and lived in many different states of America. This afforded her a rich and diverse experience because he was able to meet many professional artists who influenced and inspired her work. Creativity has always been a driving force in her life. She’s filled with joy when she’s expressing that talent and God-given gift to create whether through: setting a beautiful table, writing, combining words and images, art, cooking, entertaining, fashion, decorating, make-up, finding ways to inspire, bless and encourage people, gift wrapping, or finding creative ways of solving problems or doing something. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Maryland in College Park. Nancy spent 11 years designing for a global art publisher in Richmond, Virginia called World Art Group. Once she was done with that job, she turned to pursue writing, her true passion and calling. She has written many article, among them Blessing Our Children, It's A New Day, The Equation of Oneness, The Calling, Ride with Jesus, Two Way Journaling With God, Arise and Go Forth!, Your Hands Are Divine Instruments, My Life in Christ, The Great Exchange, Light Bearers Arise, and Covered By Love, to mention a few. Currently, framed Nancy Slocum art adorn the walls of many galleries, museums, and institutions all over the world. Nancy uses her art as a means of service to God. She received an unforgettable and divine life-changing vision for her calling to be an instrument of God.
