Sillier than Sally Art

Sillier Than Sally is actually known as Sally Walsh. She’s a professional artist born and raised in Sydney. She still resides in Sydney to date. She’s also an illustrator, designer and collector. She collects all things vintage. Sally is a supporter of bright colors, an overseas adventure fan, and a shenanigan starter ….with slight magpie/hoarding tendencies. She was bitten by the travel bug at a young age. This was due to the many family trips overseas. Travel has always been a big part of her life. She says that she would spend her last penny on a plane ticket in blink of an eye – Absorbing the sounds and sites of foreign lands is a rewarding and intoxicatingly rich experience for her. Apart from art, Sally also likes music, laughing till her sides are about to burst, and spending quality one-on-one time with animals, being at her best and painting in her studio into the early hours of the morning. Meeting people is a huge source of inspiration for her and her art – she has an art journal her way along some of her travels. She creates watercolor art, pet portraits and wildlife art and commission figurative mixed media canvas art that hang in private and corporate collections in New Zealand, Australia, Canada USA, and Ireland. The framed Sillier Than Sally is a common feature in many galleries and collection around the world. She has taken part in numerous group and solo art exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney, and a few in New York.
