For more than 4 decades, Ric Ergenbright has been a landscape and travel photographer. He was born in an artistic family. His father was a professional writer, traveler, and photographer, and he’s the one who heavily influenced his passion for photography. He says that of particular significance was that his father founded the first photographic tour company in America in 1953. His father also gave him the opportunity to take a semester off from college to join one of his father’s tours to Japan dabbed “Thru The Lens.” Ergenbright had grown up in a photographic environment, but he didn’t see it as his life’s focus until he went on that trip. That experience became a game changer, and he was hooked for life! Today, he’s among the best photographers in the world. He has worked successfully on assignments for Outdoor Photographer, Reader’s Digest, Audubon, U.S. News, Life Magazine, National Geographic, and a host of other publications. He’s represented by Danita Delimont, a stock photo agency that brings together top photographers from around the world. Ergenbright’s photographs regularly appear in major national ads, calendars, corporate reports, books and magazines. Most recently, Ergenbright has resorted to using a small Sony mirrorless camera that he mounts on a drone (a remote controlled quadcopter) to capture hi-resolution aerial landscapes. As he pursues this higher perspective of the world through remote controlled and powered paragliding aerial photography, he also writes his next major book. Framed Ric Ergenbright art has become very popular among art collectors.
