Rhys Taylor is an artist based in Prague. He seems not to have made up his mind early enough as to what career he wanted to pursue. He spent a very long summer in between Advanced levels and University, and messed up with many programs. Having nothing much else to do, he decided to take up computer graphics as a course. Later on, he again stumbled upon Terragen and Blender and has never looked back. He spent the next four years teaching himself CGI while undertaking an Astrophysics degree. Taylor’s goal is to create, for a moment in time, a visual memory that never fades away... a timeless and enduring connection with this beautiful world in which we live. He had to slow down drastically when he started his Doctorate of Philosophy degree, and also whenever a Total War game was released. And it was not until 2010 that he completed his Doctorate of Philosophy from Cardiff. Taylor does occasional freelance work, and his art has been shown in places ranging from the German television channel ZDF to the Royal Society. His art stands out among the works of other artists and he’s represented in major private and public collections in the country and abroad. Framed Rhys Taylor art are very easy to recognize. His art has found their way into many galleries and collections because many people like his style that show his funny-side-of-life humor mixed with his fine sense of detail.
