Rebecca Jackrel shares her love of wild places and creatures through her photography. She’s a freelance photographer currently based in San Francisco, California. Her work has been honored through the National Wildlife Federation, the Nature’s Best Photography Awards, and Art Wolf’s International Conservation Photography Awards. Rebecca loved art since her childhood and she has been doing artwork for as long as she can remember. As a curious young girl, Rebecca used to help her older brother in processing and printing black-and-white photos in their darkroom of their home in upstate NY. Growing up in a strict family instilled in her a sense of humility and discipline that has helped her to relate well with her clients and to achieve much success. Some of her earliest memories include the architecture, art, and landscapes of San Francisco. Since those days Rebecca has been fascinated by the art of photography as a medium for communication. She blends this fascination with her love of nature, creating mesmerizing visions of the planet. She has explored and continues to explore many subject matters and styles. Her art, especially the framed Rebecca Jackrel art, is admired by many and can be seen on the walls of some of the most esteemed buildings in the world. She’s a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP), NANPA, and Professional Photographers of America (PPA) and lectures on environmental issues and nature photography. Rebecca’s art are much sought after by many purchasers who are interested in giving their rooms a fresh look.
