Shelly Rasche Art

Shelly Rasche has been a freelance commercial artist for more than 30 years. She works with companies around the world from a studio in her home in Camp Point, Illinois. Over the past 3 decades, Shelly’s art has appeared on thousands of items around the world, including prints, greeting cards, children's books, clothing, counted cross stitch designs, fabric, yard flags, , music boxes, Christmas ornaments mugs, kitchen items, tins, and much more. Her art is represented by Art Licensing, International, based in Vermont. The agents here market her designs to companies all over the world. Originally, the artist renovated the Scale House at Windsong Acres so she could use it as her Art Studio. In her studio most private or public events take place in the evening, but many days she can be found creating artwork at her desk in the back addition to the Scale House. In her spare time she loves to work in her extensive flower gardens, complete with butterflies and hummingbirds. Shelly's designs are displayed throughout the building, and there’s a small selection of commercial products made from her designs which is available to the public to purchase in her studio area. Her hilarious and often warm illustrations for children have appeared in curriculum materials, magazines and books. And framed Shelly Rasche art are found in many prestigious collections all over the world. Her artwork may be found on products found in a wide variety of stores. In Central Illinois, products bearing Shelly’s designs are most likely to be found in Michaels, Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Christian or secular book stores, gift shops and fabric stores.
