She started Plaid Couch Designs, a company through which she created graphic designs for her trail of clients. Marla also built a name for her design works for the gift industry, having designed jewelry, wood products, candles, and more. Her own art pieces cover a variety of themes and she’s also known for her creative pieces for the design industry. Marla has done a lot over the years to promote her works and has also earned respect for her invaluable support to individuals who need her advice.
In 1994, Marla, together with her husband held the inaugural Barn Festival, which is an arts festival held twice every year.
