Dianne Poinski Art

Photographer Dianne Poinski hails from Sacramento. She fell in love with photography while she was attending college to pursue an accounting degree. Dianne took a black-and-white photography course to help satisfy the art requirements in the course, but when the prints came out, her passion for photography developed while her dream of becoming a CPA quickly melted. Dianne shot films and printed in the darkroom for many years. She then slowly transitioned into digital photography and this made her passion for the art form to be reignited. She has been inspired by scenes that suggest serenity, mystery, and simplicity. With her camera focused to capture the subject, Dianne allows herself to slow down and reflect on the quiet beauty before her. It’s her hope that her viewers will experience a little bit of the calm she set out to capture.
