Jeff Pica is a photographer who was born and raised in the suburbs of New York City. He came of age in the 1970s, the fabled era of artistic expression and hedonism. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree, he relocated to NYC where he took a job on Wall Street with a major brokerage firm. It was during this time that he became interested in fine art photography and the architecture of the New York City, the majesty of the “concrete jungle.” Pica moved on to pursue a career in the Arts after 6 years on Wall Street. He studied photography at the School of Visual Arts and managed a graphic design company in Greenwich Village. Pica spends his time taking photographs of nature and the architecture of New York and other rural and urban areas. Recognized for his unique perspective, Pica’s work can be found in many NYC galleries and corporate collections, corporate collections and hotels in major cities across the country. Apart from art work, he is also an ordained Spiritual Minister and founding member of the Spiritualist Church of New York City. Pica can be said to have successful career in photography. He has received many commissions from leading clients and has been favored by many critics. His intense passion for art and the unique nature of his subject matter has positive influence on many upcoming artists.
