Chris Paschke Art

Chris Paschke (Born 1951) is an American-born artist whose diversity in art making has propelled her to great artistic heights. She's been able to hone her artistic skills through continuing studies that include studying with Asian masters. These studies have given her an in depth understanding of diverse artistic concepts coupled with the simplicity of Asian art. Chris has an amazing minimalistic approach to art making and she covers a host of subjects, including florals and objects. She continues to explore more in terms of texture, color, new artistic visions, among several other aspects that add to her artistry. Chris has also been influenced by the artistic forms that she witnesses during her trips to China, immensely contributing to her urge to explore more of the art form. She studied at Humboldt State University from where she earned her honors in Creative Arts and Design. Chris started a calligraphy design and illustration venture in 1980 under the name Design Ink, but would later relocate to Connecticut, working there for 13 years. She then moved to the center of Tehachapi Mountains in 2002 and has been there to date. She isn't just limited to creating art, but is also conversant with paper making, building brushes, grinding ink, framing, and cutting quills. Chris has exhibited her art across the globe and has several of them in high profile collections, both private and public.
