Bambi Papais Art

Bambi Papais went to California in her early 20s. She was born and brought up Utah where she learnt to appreciate what nature provides. When she moved to California, she instantly fell in love with all that she saw. Bambi creates vivid colorful images primarily with watercolor and occasionally with pen and ink, or colored pencil. Her images are uplifting and sure to spread smiles and happiness. The artist believes that if people can share whatever gifts they have with others, then they can contribute to moments of everyday joy in their everyday lives. Her note cards and art can be found at the Pinecrest Gallery in California in the summer months, the Art on Main Gallery in Murphys, California, Prestige Gallery in Angels Camp CA, All That Matters in Twain Harte, Calaveras County Arts Council Gallery in San Andreas, Garden House in San Mateo, Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, Toad Hollow Vineyards Tasting Room in Healdsburg, and at Mountain Bookstore, Outhouse. Her prints appear in many galleries nationwide and her original paintings are in private collections across the country. Bambi has been drawing and sketching as far back as she can remember and she always think that coloring books must have been a very important companion in her childhood. She’s basically a self-taught artist, though she has attended a handful of workshops over the years to help hone her skills. Her style of watercolor painting can be recognized by her funny-side-of-life humor mixed with her fine sense of detail. Framed Bambi Papais art is a common sight in many buildings.
