Paul Panossian Art

Paul Panossian (Born 1965) was raised in Southern California but was born in Los Angeles California. His parents gladly provided him with the needed means an opportunity to grow and learn under the tutelage of professional artists. At the age of 6, he began and continued private instructions which took place throughout his high school years. He was later trained in traditional art with an emphasis in oil painting. His personal works of art are characterized by painterly technique intense color and sophisticated composition that has been recognized immediately by many art critics, aficionados and collectors. His family made a trip to Italy and this became his earliest art influence and acted as a springboard for his artistic career. Panossian has received many awards through the years in juried international and national exhibitions. His art has been recognized for their unique quality and sophistication by The Art Renewal Center in every International Salon Competitions. He displayed an inherent artistic ability at an early age and was classically trained in the techniques and methods of the Old Masters. As a proficient waterman and Californian native, his direct intimacy and experience with the ocean has empowered him to evoke an emotional response in his paintings that has been described as unchanging. The artist mentored under professional artists from that early age, and later earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from California State University Northridge. Currently, his patrons include Paula Abdul, Nordstrom, the Royal family of Saudi Arabia, Alex Trebek, Caesar’s Palace Las Vegas, and Kathy Ireland.
