Ofer Zidon was born and raised in Israel where he still lives to date. Zidon liked and still likes anything to do with aviation. He knew that he would be an artist because he loved art from a tender age. Today, he’s a photographer specializing in aviation photography. He’s also an author and long time contributor of articles and photos about the IAF to the IAF Magazine and other worldwide aviation magazines such as Air Forces Monthly and Combat Aircraft. In the last 10 years, he has published about 20 books about the IDF and IAF. Some of his books have been published for internal use of IAF units, while others have been sold to the general public. The books are highly appreciated within the IDF and IAF due to the high quality of his photography and vast knowledge of the subjects covered by the books. Zidon has managed to produce high quality art over the years and has managed to attract a huge following of fans from all over the world.
